We live in a time and place in which there are abundant natural resources and energy sources. Our goal at Chakana is to harness those natural resources and energy sources and reuse/repurpose what is already available to us to advance the human experience through the science and technology that has been created over the generations. We feel these advancements can make life easier by looking at the optimization of these resources through technology. One of our first ideas is based on the scientific principle of how energy can be harnessed by rotating a magnetic field around a metal wire through what is called electromagnetic induction. We are utilizing Faraday's Law and Lenz's Law to develop a product that takes advantage of the latest technologies and materials to solve a problem that can occur in every dwelling on our planet. The energy needed to operate this device is being repurposed from an energy source that is being released into the environment.

There have been civilizations in the past that have worked with the resources that they understood and had access to. Chakana is working to bring focus to the time and place of our civilized human experience today and how little steps toward improving our relationship with our natural environment will lead to major advancements in society. 

We will continue to develop new and innovative products as we explore the laws of physics, thermodynamics, electrodynamics, etc... and combine that understanding with the latest developments in technology. With the products that Chakana develops, everyone will have the opportunity to be part of the solution.
